Reverend Samuel M. Worcester Papers, 1805-1825

Reverend Samuel M. Worcester was the Corresponding Secretary of the Salem (Mass.) Bible Society. Collection includes two separate letters written to Mr. and Mrs. Ebinezer Fox on the death of their son William (1825); a printed report of the East Tennessee Bible Society; a memorandum of books listing the books in Rev. Worcester's private library along with his publications; a sermon entitled "Excellence of God's Testimony" delivered before the Bible Society of Salem (1818); and copies of letters exchanged between Dr. Worcester and Rev. Lucius Boles, pastor of a Baptist Church in Salem between 1805 and 1814.
